Palmódromo Medellín

Every city has a road where its car culture lives. Ours is Las Palmas: a demanding climb full of curves, the whole city glowing below, and people who come up not just to race, but to show their cars, make friends, and belong. Palmódromo is that experience, turned into a game.

This project is personal. It started decades before the studio did, with a kid growing up around the Las Palmas racing culture, and later, nights climbing those curves with friends and their cars. Palmódromo digitizes that feeling: think the GTA of Colombia, but built by people who were actually there.

The vision: the game is free to play. Local brands drop exclusive gear inside the game. Players pay only for the details that matter in this culture: the most exclusive fits, or switching your plate to 444, like half of Medellín would. Characters are drawn from the city’s real archetypes, each tied to real neighborhoods.

The love for this road is real. Fellow creators have already taken Las Palmas into sim racing, and we admire everyone building to share this culture with the world: they’re friends of the house. Our own contribution plays to what we do best, visual craft and storytelling: Medellín as it actually looks, sounds, and drives, with its characters at the center. We have a deep base of assets: cars, bikes, characters, animations. With today’s AI-assisted pipeline we can prototype at a speed that wasn’t possible when the project began.

Lights, camera, action

El Palmódromo isn’t just a racing game. It’s a cultural archive, a love letter to Medellín on four wheels. We want real cars and real collaborators from the city in the game: people who want their story reflected in it. This is a project made by and for the culture.
